home1Carver is the most talented theatercompany with brilliant absurdism you can experience here in the Netherlands.

How wonderful it is that their actors like Beppie Melissen can turn nothing, like eating a cookie, into something hilarious or touching. Normally it is all about that, but in their new show titled: ‘Brigadier Fub of het eeuwig menselijke’ which means something like ‘Sergeant Fub or the eternal humanity’, they are trying something new…

With absurdist and cartoonist Gummbah on their side as newly adopted co-writer they are turning it into a musical etude of language. Unfortunately for the foreign visitors of this blog who are interested, it’s all in Dutch…

For our Dutch friends you all should go and check out the show!

Visit their website for more info on the dates and venues

During my weekly Typography check I came across an interesting post. He mentioned a new podcast about (graphic) design from two students (Aaron Heth and Matt McInerney) of Savannah College of Art & Design. I listened to that episode and man I wish I was that passionate during my school period, anyway …

    rbtl

This episode  features an interview with Antonio Carusone and as I listened I used my browser to bring the interview to life. When you use google images to see what the new Tropicana package design looks like for example … anyway, just give it a listen. Antonio Carusone has a few websites and I can only say that I’m really impressed. He’s the owner of websites like aisle one and the grid system.

A lot of helvetica as he says in his interview, no problem for me, I’ve put all the sites in the links section!
