Welcome at molligepolsen.nl, this is the website of graphic- and, as I call it, audiodesigner Dirk Schmidt. I recently started my own business and I’m enjoying every minute of it. Ziek is a Rotterdam based agency focussing on graphic- and web design and as time progresses basically everything I enjoy. Also at the picture is my lovely girlfriend Elke who is a big help and inspiration for a lot of work.

I started designig in 2001 at DLVS creative services and from there I learned print design mostly in the fashionindustry and at the same time got involved in the process at whole, from scetch to photography to art direction to the design and eventually the print process. After eight years I moved to Nonverbaal where I focussed more on web- design and usability.

Sometimes I’m being asked to think about concepts for certain clients varying from art direction for photoshoots to imagebuilding for certan music artists. I throw a party so now and then also, these kind of things I also post on my blog but it doesn’t represent my core business.

Producer Boris Ross and I started a group called Pop on acid and we signed a contract where we can manage our own recordlabel and where we produce electronic music …
